{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Gravelly Point

I decided to go fishing at gravelly point last week and my plan was to wade in and try to catch some stripers. 5 minutes after I start fishing (waist deep in the outflow) a DC police boat pulls up and docks by the boat ramp. The bow of the boat is facing towards me and they definitely spotted me, but being the young delinquent that I am I decided to keep on fishing. After about an hour I decide to leave and as I'm walking away one of the cops walks up and asks me how the fishing was. I was scared shitless and thought he was going to write me a ticket but it seemed liked he either didn't care or didn't know that I was breaking the law and I walked away without any problems.
Random story but I thought that someone might find it interesting.
