Hello All,
-- Wondering people's opinion (or known facts) on fish movement when the wind is really blowing. I'm from a little harbor town on Lake Ontario originally, and the falls are exceptionally windy. Now, some different elements are more in play up there, as the lake will get really rough and the water temperature will occasionally "flip", but the basics are about the same. Do fish around the harbor/river/bay go out to deeper water or seek shelter when the weather gets bad? Obviously conditions are not the same a few feet down in the water column, but there are definite surge, visibility, and noise factors that I feel could displace fish.
What do you all think? Anyone have experience on this?
