They drop so fast that I wouldn't worry about it yet. Next week is supposed to be pretty nice last time I checked, so they should be fine.

On the topic of SNP streams. I am planning to come back to my parents house in northern VA next weekend (the 10th) to fish the Rapidan and other SNP streams. Do you guys suspect them to be blown out from this hurricane rain? Thanks,On Fri, Oct 2, 2015 at 1:51 PM, Andrew Chaney <andrew...@gmail.com> wrote:I was in Sperryville a few weeks ago for the exact same reason. I didn't have much time to fish so I just fished the Thornton River (not the N Fork) for about an hour where it goes through SNP. The water was incredibly low, but I did find one hole where I caught 3 brookies (two under 6" and one around 8"). It's easily accessible, but I'd only go back there again if I only had an hour or less to fish.--

I am going to a wedding party in Sperryville, VA and was planning on getting up early and hitting the Hazel or the N Fork of the Thornton. Any tips or advice for fishing on either of these two rivers? Are there any other spots worth considering?
Thanks,
Nick
