Rex - 1/2 and 1/2s, and clousers got the crappies. I think I missed several because I was too slow at first to figure out the little bumps might be fish, seemed really soft. Don't know what to look for in crappie spawn behavior....didn't see any obvious bass nests. I can see how these fish could become an obsession, would be a lot of fun on lighter gear.

Had one of those mornings that is a testament to how great this area is. 4 species in one morning. Did so well on the small fish so moved up the fly size. Of course, then on Sunday nothing. Made Saturday that much better: (big bass = 7wt, sink tip, half/half). Need advice on how to take good pictures one-handed while wading, don't get the true heft of the bass from the below angle.
