I have never fished a fly rod there. But the cove by first street. Has tons of flounder. I will normally fish jigs to get a few croaker and fish cut bait or the whole croaker for flounder. There are millions of bait fish and minnows in there. I would guess and sort of grey or grey/white 4 inch closer with big eyes and sinking line should catch something. Hey all,
I'm heading down to Virginia Beach this weekend. I'm hoping to get some shore fishing or wading in while I'm there. Do any you all have any pointers or spots to try? I'm not too familiar with the area.
