We will have our casting get together on Sunday, 8 May at Fletcher's Cove from 8am to 11am.
-- This Church we will work on casting accuracy and have set up accuracy drills, mainly hula hoops, but we will also take advantage of structure in the park. We will have the standard work of putting yarn flies in hula hoops at various distances. But how about doing that with an aerial mend? How about back casting accurately? How about casting around an obstruction accurately? Lots of fun working all this.
So this Church also occurs on Mother's Day, so bring your Mom's along for a little morning casting work, and then you can go to Sunday bruch.
Come on out, whether you are a novice, intermediate, or advanced caster, it is all fun to work on solving casting problems and casting challenges, particularly for shad.
If you are just getting started, this is a great way to meet people who can help. There will be casting instructors on hand.
If you are preparing for an upcoming trip and looking to re-fresh your casting skills, this is a great opportunity.
