Because of the national pandemic and no way for me to organize an event in a location where we could all watch the films, celebrate the arrival of spring, imbibe, win prizes, and have an all-around great time, the F3T organizers offered us an option to either host an event later in the year when and if things get seemingly back to normal, or tack on to them hosting the show digitally again this year.

 

Their idea to support us was to ask people to come in and spend at least $5 in the shop, and in return I give you a QR code you can scan for $5 off a ticket.  Not a bad idea, but not what I had in mind when planning to host our 15th F3T in a row.

 

Instead of pouting and being disappointed, we decided to do something different….  F3T has provided links to each Trout Unlimited chapter in the area so when you purchase a ticket off their link, TU benefits with a portion of the ticket sale.  So buying your tickets this year won't benefit us directly, but you're supporting the local TU chapter of your choice.

Additionally, NCC-TU will not be hosting a screening of F3T. However, they encourage their members to support either NVA-TU, the Tidal Potomac Slam co-hosts, or PP-TU, our partners on the Patuxent Wild Trout Initiative.
