{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Shoreline access for Yellow Perch advise

I'm teaching one of College Buddies ( Tina ) and her 9 year old daughter ( Rochelle ) how to fish.
We did the bobber and worm dunking thing today at Greenbelt Lake ( which is just a large pond ).
Both Tina and Rochelle caught their first fish on rod and reel. Each of them caught several Bluegills.
Tina was absolutely ecstatic and Rochelle had a good time as well.
Next I want to take them for
Yellow Perch. A species that I've never actually targeted myself. But have incidentally caught over the years pursuing other species.
Does anybody know of any good public shoreline access points for Yellow Perch in either the Patuxent or Potomac watersheds.
And I'm assuming they're also running now?

Thanks in advance

Vladimir ( Vo )
