I have a BVK in a 9 weight and like it a lot. It really is a great rod but may not fit everyone's casting style. Based on what I am reading I am between another BVK or the Axiom II-x rather than the Axiom II.

While I do not have funds from TFO to spend on a TFO rod, I am in a similar quandary between the AxiomII and the BVK in an 8 wt for salt water and maybe some salmon fishing. Thanks in advance.KevinOn Mon, Mar 23, 2020, 12:15 PM Yambag Nelson <northstreet...@gmail.com > wrote:--I broke my TICR and Temple Forks is nice enough to give me a credit to use towards a new rod since the TICR is no longer made, nor do they have blanks. I am looking at the Axiom II and Axiom IIx rods. I typically wouldn't buy a rod without casting it but that probably isn't an option here. Anyone have thoughts on either of those two rods?
