{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Rose River

A friend and I hit the Rose River yesterday. We hiked in from the trailhead. Turned out to be a beautiful day but the River was really flowing. Hard to find a pool, but we did and caught some beautiful wild Brookies. One around 9-10". The other two were the typical 6-7". Forget my net so I couldn't get any fish fotos. The picture below will give you an idea of flow.
