{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Re: Guided Trip Sept/Oct

Both guides look great and the schoolie action sounds like it would be great fun as a beginner.  It also sounds like there's a possibility for some fish busting bait on the surface.  You can't beat an explosion of water, so I'm all in.  Let's see what my dad thinks.  I'll be looking to book something soon, but will see if anybody else has other recommendations.

Hi all, My dad wants to take a guided trip sometime in september/early October this year.  He is a god awful fly caster, but would like to dabble and fall back on spin if it's not working out.  I've been trying to get him to take an Orvis class, but his schedule and mine haven't aligned...and he wants company.  I know I could certainly use it too.  Anyway, we could do a smallie float on the Shenandoah or James, but we both are quite competent at finding them by ourselves.  He is interested in salt, but I am supremely unfamiliar with it, especially in the fall.  We would love to stick to VA, Southern Maryland, or the Outer Banks.

Are there any recommendations for fish to seek out, and guides to put us on them?

Thank you for the wealth of knowledge and the willingness to share.
