{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Re: Rain and Local Streams

One of those "little" MD streams fishes best with the water gauge up around 3-4.  There are nice browns in there too, surprisingly.

The smallest streams should be fishable now. I tried last night on a small MD stream and it was too high to cross, but I was still able to fish one good pool and was rewarded with an 18" brown. Some of the larger trout streams may not be fishable until Sunday (such as the Patuxent, stocked MD streams, and larger SNP rivers).
