They are a little heavy; still it's a classy choice and way nicer looking than a utillitarian injection molded plastic toolbox from the big box hardware stores. I have one in need of restoration that was once my step-father's (40 year tool & die man for Singer and General Motors). I plan to use mine likewise, but for time being I have a soft sided fly tying case (Orvis Safe Passage)  that works very well for Beer Ties, or at least when I'm not too damn lazy to tie over beer and burgers on the 2nd Monday of the month. ;-)
