This project will build the first DC Metro area All-Abilities ADA-compliant water access and roller-entry launch for Human-powered watercraft. Four Mile Runs sheltered water provides an ideal location for this type of access. The access will be built at the end of Commonwealth Avenue, near the deteriorating 40-year-old improvised launch ramp. Four Mile Run Conservatory Foundation (a 501(c)(3) non-profit) is sponsoring this project. See attached information packet if you want to know more.
