Subject: CCA Meeting on November 17th - Guest Speaker - Chris Moore, Chesapeake Bay Foundation
Hi Members and Friends of CCA Northern Virginia –
Chris Moore, from the Chesapeake Bay Foundation will be our Guest Speaker. Chris was part of the group, and one of the first Officers that started the Northern VA CCA chapter in 1999.
He is an excellent speaker, and is passionate about our resource.
Chris Moore, Hampton Roads Senior Scientist. Chris leads policy development and technical support for a variety of Chesapeake Bay water quality and fisheries restoration efforts. His water quality work involves a wide range of activities from on-the-ground restoration to working with elected officials through all levels of government to ensure legislative decisions that ensure enhancement of the Bay watershed. Mr. Moore also works to build sustainable fisheries issues through oyster restoration efforts and proactive management of important Bay fisheries such as blue crab and Atlantic menhaden. He is also a US Coast Guard Licensed Captain and runs educational and restoration boat trips for volunteers, media, elected officials, and decision makers.
Speaker's presentation will start at 7:00pm.

Meeting will take place at Neighbors Restaurant, 262 Cedar Ln, Vienna, VA 22180
We have the special meeting room from 6:00 – 9:30 – and many of us will be showing up for dinner at 6:00.
Speaker's presentation will start at 7:00. The wait staff at neighbors will gladly serve us beverages throughout the evening, but if you plan to eat dinner, it might be best to arrive at 6:00.
