The emerald island is a beautiful spectacle with its mountains, gently undulating hills, open plains, and lush valleys. Running through these are countless rivers dotted with beautiful waterfalls, many hidden beneath a dense cloak of rainforest.

These forests and highlands hold an astounding number of endemics. We would be chasing these very birds as well as species that are difficult to view in India. We shall in between also visit the wold famous Yala reserve to see the top predator of the country, the leopard.

Its diversity is spectacular holding a major chunk of species found in the world for Orchids, flowering plants, butterflies 6%, bats 9% & birds 10%. The birds would be our main focus this trip in Myanmar which has one of the most diverse bird faunas per unit area amongst any country in the world..
