{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Just Tied A Bunch of Shenk's White Streamers

Such a good fly, such a pain to tie.  It really isn't that bad other than getting the loose rabbit hair all over the place.  I made quite a mess tying them.

I have tied them in size 2.  Lately I have been in a phase where I tie and fish bigger flies for bass, smallmouth, etc.  I tend to fish the Shenk's White Streamer for smallmouth and it has to be one of my most effective patterns and a go to pattern.

I am thinking that with the cool evenings we have been having lately I may have to start scouting the Occoquan for Stripers to see if they are there yet.
