RE: [CudaMailTagged] {Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Vail Colorado Guide Recs?

I've spent the past 10 years fishing in and around Vail, most of it on my own. When I wanted more info or a guide, I like the guys at: www.gorecreekflyfisherman.com.

The Gore is uber convenient, wadable, gin-clear, packed with fish and offers anglers of all skill levels an opportunity to test themselves. The folks at Gore Creek Fly are dialed into the river and can set you up with options on bigger water – floats and wade options alike – dependibg on what you're into. They aren't the least expensive though, so let me know if you'd like other suggestions.

That time of year should be prime grasshopper season, with rainbows really looking up morning and evenings. You don't need waders for the Gore and a standard 9' 5 weight is more than enough.

Have fun. It's one of my favorite places on earth to fish and play!

Hi all,

I'll be in Vail for a buddy's bachelor party in mid-August and have been tasked with organizing some fishing.  Does anyone recommend any guides/shops out there?

Thanks,

Tom
