I'm sure someone who took notes at tonights meeting at the Park Service will post in more detail. I'll just say that the officials from NPS and the District of Columbia were very encouraging. And there was a lot of thoughtful comments from members of the audience and feedback from the officials.
The short term goal of having Fletcher's open for the spring run is in the works and a long term solution is being actively planned. I didn't get any hint at all that pacifying Govt. smoke was being blown.
I'm sleeping better tonight!
