If you dont want to divulge where on the Rap you were, but if you wouldnt mind me asking where on the river you were?  I've fished that river for a decade and almost always fish from the first bridge all the way up to the Camp.  6' 1wt is what i carry on brook streams.  i got a deal on it when they first came out and its been my most favorite purchase ever.

 TFO does offer some conversion kits for a few of their rods.  On the BVK series they have a conversion kit to take the 8' 3wt to a 10' 3 wt. On the TICR x rods you can turn the standard 9' 7 or 8 wt single handed rod into a 11'3" two handed rod.  I would be interested to hear from someone who has either of these to know how they perform.
