There is a dam project being done that has dropped the lake about 5-7 feet from its normal levels. The dam is closed.
I fished yesterday, and for the flyfisherman, there is anywhere from a 20 to a 50 foot strip around the entire lake that makes access walking really easy. Wading not allowed, but all of the exposed shore that I walked on was firm (though I wish I had worn boots instead of tennis shoes).
I caught several bass and tons of bluegills.
