{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Miracle Mile - North Platt river in WY

I will be leaving in about 10 days to join with my 2 brothers to fly into the dirt airstrip that is about a mile and a half below the upper Kortes dam.  This will be similar to backpacking via small plane.   There is what appears to be a popular forest service camp spot less than half mile from the end of the air strip.  If anyone has camped there (or close by) and fished this stretch (in August) I would appreciate any info you would share.  We have a weight restriction due to the small plane and it also leaves us hanging food via a bear bag (no vehicle to secure things in).  Would love first hand experience with water levels from power generation.  Does it fish when generation is going on? I'm an eastern guy with very little experience fishing bigger western waters.  Any thoughts about that would be helpful.  Thanks in advance.
