Looks like a highly-annoyed black ratsnake based upon the ventral coloration and overall size and color (not 100% clear from pic). I had one for years and used to let it bite me to demonstrate how harmless they are.

I was out fishing today with a spinning rod and caught my first snakehead today. I almost stepped on this guy and it gave me the snake posture. It scared the socks off of me.
I hate snakes!!!
