{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Re: 4MR today 10-10-2016

I was down there this afternoon, too. I decided to get in near the outflow and worked the wooded side. I ended up with around 7 or 8 largemouth and sunfish -- all pretty small. I used a steelhead fly that looks like a nymph and a small popper. The popper was where I had the most success by casting and giving it a few twitches and then letting it sit.

I didn't see any fish of size there today. This weekend was my first time down there since the winter. the last time I was down there, I saw some pretty huge bass that wouldn't eat anything. I guess they'll make their way up as the water gets colder?
