Gregg, Planning to be a the TU meeting tonight! Brad
Thanks for the shout out Greg F. Brad - please check out the announcement on the NovaTU FB site - we have changed the venue due to the road to the Conway being impassable. We are fishing the Rose River lower section near Syria and meeting at the Graves Mill Farm Store neat to the lodge on Saturday morning. Please go to the FB site for details. Look me up if you are at the NVATU meeting on Thursday.Gregg RockettOn Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 5:46:58 PM UTC-4 Brad Nicholson wrote:
Thanks for the head's up. I may trot on out to the TU meeting tomorrow night too. I just moved back to the DC area - last time I was here was 2006-9 and was a member of NVATU then as well.On Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 3:54:11 PM UTC-4 Greg Feder wrote:Brad —-Northern Virginia TU's fish with a member trip to the Conway is this Saturday. Always a fun group with some people who can help you find the right parking lot and trailhead.
Fish With A Member - Conway River (VA)
September 7, 2024
When: Saturday, September 7, 2024
Depart: 8 a.m.
Return: Whenever
Meet: Starbucks, 12599 Fair Lakes Cir, Fairfax, VA 22033, USA (map)
Note: Starbucks is in the same strip of stores as The UPS Store. Please do not park in the small Starbucks lot near their store. Use the larger one across from their front door.
We will fish the Upper Conway along VA-615 within the boundary of the Rapidan Wildlife Management Area. See additional details in the Conway River Trip Information at the link below. As always, weather and water conditions may dictate some changes to our plans. If the meeting point in Fairfax is inconvenient, a secondary meeting point near to Gainesville can be arranged en route to our destination. Contact F...@novatu.org if this is the case.
Please download and complete the NOVATU FWAM waiver form using the link below. The form can be completed electronically and emailed to us at F...@novatu.org. Alternatively, you can bring the completed form directly to the meeting point and allow the group to get on the road sooner. This is the same form all participants sign at their first FWAM trip each year. It is not required for future trips during the same calendar year.
