Re: {Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Gunpowder excursion

Agreed, Greg.

Now that I can feel my fingers again, I can add my thanks to the organizers, Rich and the griddlers, and the guides and TPFR members who provided tips on casting, wading, and reading water.  It was also nice to meet some of the people behind the names I read in emails from NCCTU, NVATU, and of course, TPFR.

I think I was pretty good at fishing today, albeit terrible at catching. I take some comfort in the fact that the ten or so others who cast at this pod couldn't move a fish either.

I bought a 365 day out of state license license and trout stamp, so I'm looking forward to trying again.

Cheers,

Even though I sucked at fly fishing today, the event was a lot of fun!  Thanks to the organizers, chefs, guides, and companions.  The camaraderie of TPFR is unrivaled!
