They'll eat everything. Rather boring as they don't do much. Remove them from rocks and drop them in. Watch how they move. There isn't a fly out there that mimics their free fall wriggle.

Internet research indicates they eat other invertebrates, so I've just been adding more nymphs every time I get out in warmwater. I tried to grow a baby crayfish but he died after a couple of months. RIP Bugsy :(   I'm turning my 10 gallon tank into a local species display though!
