This isn't a small leak — this is a river-polluting disaster with real public health risks and environmental impacts.
Our team at Potomac Riverkeeper Network has been on the scene, suited up, collecting water samples and gathering critical data to track contamination levels, including dangerous bacteria like E. coli. We're documenting the pollution, monitoring impacts, and standing as watchdogs for this iconic waterway that millions of people rely on for recreation, wildlife habitat, and community life.
