Re: {Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} What wading boots are you all LOVING?

I really like my Korkers River Ops Boa.  They are expensive but based on my last pair of Korkers (I forget what model but they're no longer made)  I expect them to last.  I like the ankle support in these boots.  I feel I can really lock that in so I don't roll an ankle but they are still comfortable to hike up and down SNP river access trails.  Of course with Korkers you have interchangeable soles so can use the studded vibram for most occasions but a nonstudded vibram in a boat.  I don't buy the felt sole because it's not allowed in MD and I have become accustomed to doing without but that's an option for you too.  District Angling carries Korkers so reach out to Richie if you're interested.  They carry Simms, too, if you want to stick with those.

Good luck!

Cheers,

My Simms Freestones are starting to give up the ghost. ( a moment of silence, please.)

Curious to know if anyone in the group wants to shout from the mountaintops about how great their wading boots are as I begin the slow contemplation on deciding on a replacement. Most interested in the WHY you think they're great, if strong opinions prevail.

Thanks in advance.
