Try calling Kittery Trading Post, they know the area and should have referrals to good guides. There's also an Orvis outlet in Kittery and LL Bean and Cabela's aren't far either and are all good sources of chatter on the local fishery. Finally, it's a few hours away, but the West Branch of the Penobscot fishes well that time of the year for wild landlocked salmon--if you happen to go, Abol Bridge Campground Store or Old Town Canoe should be able to point you to a guided trip. Have fun.

All,Headed to Maine in June for a few days. Was hoping to do a half day trip, preferably from land. I will be based out of Portland/Brunswick. Any suggestions for guide companies? Thanks!
