Re: {Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Thomas, WV

I am a student at WVU.  Have to miss the first game, coming back to fish the Pot with a friend.  The cheat has some small mouth in it.  Ive only floated it with a friend.  The area around 'blue hole' has some nice fish in it if you know where it is.  I cant really give directions, its one of those places where you just reconize turns based off this tree or that tire in the woods.  Big Sandy is a trib to the Cheat, ive heard of people hooking up with brookies in there and some smallies.  I have not fished it tho.  In WV I normally make the drive down to fish the Elk.

Though I've tried on multiple occasions, I haven't been able to find a restaurant that's had it in stock when I was there. So I've only had it once - at the Snakehead tournament earlier this year.
